WhatsApp integration can be done in two ways: direct integration and indirect integration.

Direct Integration: In direct integration, we use the official API offered by WhatsApp.  This allows us to connect the customer service platform directly to WhatsApp, offering a reliable and secure experience for you and your customers.  We can automate messages, receive notifications and interact in a personalized way.  However, it is important to know that direct integration involves additional fees for conversations received with Meta (formerly Facebook) to keep the official integration API active.  This is the most robust and professional option, ensuring effective service to your customers.

Indirect Integration: Indirect integration occurs through an emulator with WhatsApp Web. Although it is a more accessible alternative, it is not officially supported by WhatsApp.  This means that there are risks of disconnection and re-connection and some instabilities, but the advantage is that there are no extra costs, since the resources used are those already supported by WhatsApp Web.
